My Triumph next major outing was down to the annual Cold Kiwi Bike rally. The Ruapehu Motorcycle Club  formed this iconic rally in 1972. Waiouru on the slopes of Mount Ruapehu is the venue every year in September. My bike was entered in the burnout competition which is judged on how much smoke and noise one motorcycle can produce. Th crowd love it with the noise and smell. I’ve always wanted to do this. My first time so I forgot to turn off the traction control. De-activated that then she spun up nicely. The live bands every night ensured everyone had a great time.An awesome weekend once again, look forward to 2022. Thanks to Dion for his commitment making this rally happen every year.
